SIDE NOTE:
The Gheens Science Hall and Rauch Planetarium is designed to provide a unique learning environment primarily for astronomy and science education. State-of-the-art multi-media projection systems extend this capability to serve a variety of disciplines and the facility further functions as a flexible venue for events, conferences and meetings.
The planetarium serves a variety of audiences, including pre-kindergarten through grade 12 students, college students and the general public
Free public parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in parking lots near the planetarium (North Information Center Visitor Lot and School of Music lot) during the following time frames: Monday – Thursday after 7:30 pm
Friday, 7:30 pm – Sunday, midnight
