SIDE NOTE:
The Delta College Planetarium inspires exploration through entertaining Dome360 shows and events. It was designed around metaphors of space and exploration.
The design architect was William Kessler & Associates of Michigan and the contractor was Gregory Construction of Bay City. The building is certainly one of the most unique and significant buildings in downtown Bay City.
The Planetarium Digital Theater has a Digistar full dome video projection system housed under a tilted 50 foot domed screen with 140 unidirectional seats.
