Vollbrecht Planetarium

SIDE NOTE:

The planetarium projects the 7,000 night sky stars that are visible to the unaided eye. It projects the Northern and Southern hemispheres and our galaxy the Milky Way. The images and positions of the Sun, the Moon and its phases as well as the planets Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn are seen.

Showtime is 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday evenings for the series of eight shows each spring, fall and winter. Each 90 minute show is unique, offering an interactive lecture, visual presentation, star show, handouts and a door prize. Guests must use the planetarium entrance at the East end of the school.
