Experience the universe in one of the South’s largest and best equipped planetariums! Their giant hemispheric theater has been outfitted with a state-of-the-art 4k fulldome digital projection system, set to blow you away. The totally immersive fulldome digital cinema experience is like no other, giving you a front row seat to the action in ways that no flat screen ever could.
Surprisingly, the City of Jackson’s Planetarium is among the largest facilities of its kind in the country. The Planetarium includes a 60-foot diameter projection dome and a range of sophisticated theater equipment. To date, only 25 other planetariums in America equal or exceed the capabilities of the innovative facility.
