The Taylor Planetarium, located in the Museum of the Rockies, offers Digistar 4K digital projection on a 40-foot dome. Developed by Evans and Sutherland, this state-of-the-art projection system allows visitors to experience our universe and our world in vivid colors, dramatic motion, and brilliant displays of light. The planetarium has a 40-foot dome and 85 seats, which recline at different angles depending on the seat’s location within the planetarium.
Museum of the Rockies admission provides unlimited access to the museum for one day. All exhibits and planetarium shows are included in the price of admission.
The museum’s main entrance is located on the Montana State University campus, on the south side of Kagy Blvd., just west of the intersection of South Willson Ave. and South 3rd Ave.
