SIDE NOTE:
Today, the Hudson River Museum is known for imaginative, thought-provoking exhibitions of contemporary and historical art, its evolving permanent collection and ongoing restoration and interpretation of Glenview Mansion, groundbreaking exhibits about regional history, and hands-on science and art programs for all ages.
Stargazers are awed by the Museum’s upgraded full-dome digital Planetarium, dedicated in 2014, which can project up to 20 million stars. Visitors can see planetarium shows every Saturday and Sunday at 12:30pm (for our youngest visitors), 2pm (a live show for all ages), and 3:30pm (a more complex show for ages 8+); you can purchase tickets online or at the front desk.
To reserve a private planetarium show for a group (Tuesday–Friday between 10am and 5pm) visit the Group Visits page for available shows and pricing information.
